Thailand Prayer Coordinator

The role is based out of Thailand or Remote.

As great movements of God begin with prayer and dependence on Him, we are seeking a dynamic and spiritually gifted leader to serve as the Prayer Coordinator. This pivotal role is responsible for cultivating a vibrant culture of prayer and intercession that will set the spiritual foundation for all initiatives at the Thailand HUB. They will lead our Prayer Initiative to achieve 1,000 hours of weekly prayer for each Church Planting Movement we start, inspiring widespread involvement---which can include teaching, motivating, writing, calling, and encouraging---while representing GFM and its core values and serving as a host for the HUB's prayer support work. It is full time and support raising or self-funding is required. The role is based out of Bangkok, Thailand but fully remote is possible.


Key Responsibilities

  • Establish strategic prayer campaigns and initiatives to meet HUB ministry needs, ensuring they align with our overarching goals for multiplication and church planting.
  • Mobilize and inspire a broad base of prayer partners to participate actively in our Prayer Initiative which can consist of individuals, churches, and small groups.
  • Train, equip, and encourage prayer partners by providing resources, guides, and teachings, while also teaching biblical principles of prayer---offered periodically online (e.g., once a month) for those who choose to participate---in order to nurture spiritual growth and confidence in intercession.
  • Facilitate prayer-focused events, such as online prayer meetings, prayer retreats, or conference calls, to foster corporate prayer.
  • Maintain an accurate database of prayer partners, actively track and report weekly prayer hours, provide regular updates to leadership and the prayer network, and establish effective systems for gathering, managing, and distributing prayer requests.
  • Utilize e-newsletters, email, and social media to share testimonies and answered prayers, engaging the prayer network to inspire prayer, strengthen faith, and actively encourage them---ensuring they feel supported and valued.

Required Qualifications

  • Must personally embrace GFM's purpose, vision, values, and statement of faith
  • Must identify as a maturing believer in Jesus Christ with a high view of Scripture (2 Tim 3:16-17; Col 3:16-17)
  • Must demonstrate humility, teachability, and an ability to work well with others (Eph 4:15)
  • Must display advanced interpersonal relational skills and be dedicated to peacemaking (Heb 10:24-25)
  • Must function well both independently and in a team environment (1 Cor 12:25-26)
  • Must be able use or learn internal communications and technology systems (Email, Google Drive, Slack, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Must be ready to experience significant missions training and discipleship through GFM's Missionary Training School (in person sessions or online)

Recommended Experience

  • A College Degree is preferred but not required; informal training/experience in administration, communications, team building, human resource management, organization, leadership, and/or ministry will be considered
